sh(P) refers (as do other pages) to the section "Special Built-In
Utilities", but doesn't supply it. I'm not clear on exactly what POSIX
documentation you're allowed to quote, but for example

http://www.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/009695399/utilities/xcu_chap02.html

and

http://www.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/009695399/idx/sbi.html

between them seem to contain the bulk of the useful information,
namely how built-ins work and which built-ins you can expect to find.
