Package: pstoedit Version: 3.44-2 Severity: normal Hello,
For some time now, on my AMD64 box I have been unable to convert EPS to FIG (-f fig) because it hangs indefinitely, using 100% CPU. It seems that ghostscript is partly the culprit, because 'top' shows a process named 'gs' using all the CPU time. Using gdb to attach to the running process, I couldn't get a readable backtrace, but it says "child process 24223 In: [EMAIL PROTECTED]". -BenRI -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages pstoedit depends on: ii gs 8.56.dfsg.1-1.1 Transitional package ii gs-esp [gs] 8.15.3.dfsg.1-1 The Ghostscript PostScript interpr ii gs-gpl [gs] 8.56.dfsg.1-1.1 The GPL Ghostscript PostScript int ii libc6 2.6-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.2-20070712-1 GCC support library ii libpstoedit0c2a 3.44-2 PostScript to editable vector grap ii libstdc++6 4.2-20070712-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 pstoedit recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
