Hi, as you might have noticed I reassigned the bug to cdd-common which in fact contains the code that leads to the problem below.
Setting up med-tools (0.12) ... Adding menu for user users of med ... Unknown id: users dpkg: error processing med-tools (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: med-tools E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
To track down this problem I would need some help to fix it. It seems that your /etc/passwd is a little bit brocken because there seems to be invalid entries (users). Could you please send me this file in private Mail (there is no need to publish it in the BTS database for confidence reasons). Perhaps even the output of grep users /etc/passwd might be sufficient. It also would be helpful if you would tell me whether you are using NIS or LDAP for user authentication. Kind regards and thanks for your bug report Andreas. -- http://fam-tille.de -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
