Package: apsfilter Version: 7.2.6-1.1 On Etch i386
I have libpam-tmpdir installed. It would seem that, perhaps during apsfilterconfig, apsfilter gets a TMPDIR of /tmp/user/0 as set by libpam but by the time it tries to write to the directory, it is no longer root. Note that it printed the testpage fine during apsfilerconfig. ----- Forwarded message from lp <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----- Envelope-to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Delivery-date: Sat, 14 Jul 2007 14:29:43 -0400 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: apsfilter: error creating directory for temporary files From: lp <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sat, 14 Jul 2007 14:28:33 -0400 apsfilter fatal error: error creating directory for temporary files Clean up the '/tmp/user/0' directory or change the value of TMPDIR. -- apsfilter, your lpd input filter ----- End forwarded message ----- To solve, I edited /etc/apsfilter/apsfilterrc to use TMP=/var/tmp -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
