The current behavior of HAL is to use the ntfs driver so this is the one I used first. I also tried to use ntfs-3g thanks to rules I took from Ubuntu, without much success. Note this brings out another problem: there is no way to easily tell HAL to use ntfs-3g instead of ntfs with current packaging. pmount is also unable to handle this (a patched version also exists for ubuntu).
