This is a followup for: pvm breaks with fresh potato installs http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=70793
"127.0.0.1 pvmslave localhost" issue may be reassign and cloned to debian-installer and boot-floppies. The issue has already been talked about debian-installer: incorrect /etc/hosts localhost line http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=247734 though i cannot tell if it fix the breakage with pvm. Sadly i cannot test. If the problem still exists , moving it to netcfg looks the best (except if it trigger an easy to fix bug in pvm).. Also i think one can take this one: pvm stops when adding a new host http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=155076 as a duplicate and close it (as the submitter did not reply to previous maintainer request for more information and the report looks so close). Next shouldn't: pvm creates world-readable socket in /tmp http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=288562 get a security tag and a DSA ? Though i think the submitter asking for /tmp/pvm.uid/ is not much better (the permissions behing right but the tmpname need to be random, best to do both at the same time). I hope the security team can help ... Greetings Alban PS: there was a problem with your declaration of new maintainership. the email address missed the -submitter part. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
