Hi Randall, no worries. My Xorg log is attached. The xdm log was empty so it isn't attached.
There isn't much here other than it doesn't seem to be finding the GLX module. I am not opposed to just moving to gdm if it supports having multiple virtual consoles (I have some vague notion that it doesn't, but that is likely to be incorrect).
