Well, its the exact same license used for OCaml. Its QPL + exceptions (linking/6c), so I don't think its a problem unless ocaml itself gets moved to non-free.
You're right, I only had too quick a look at this package and did not see the 6c exception. I had many things to do lately, so I just stopped working on it when I saw the QPL.
I've just put what I had done for this package on the svn, you can take it if you want.
