Package: kamera Version: 4:3.5.7-2 Severity: normal
I'm trying to copy files from my Canon EOS 350D camera in PTP mode using Konqueror. The camera is detected and I am able to browse the files. However when I try to copy them, there's a significant delay (~13 seconds per file) before the copying actually begins. During this time, the memory card is being accessed so something is happening, but no files are copied until this delay is over. For the 95 files I'm trying to copy, that means a delay of 20 minutes before the copying even starts. Gtkam does not have this issue and begins copying immediately, so this is something specific to Konqueror or the camera:// kio slave. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21.5 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages kamera depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.7.dfsg.1-1 core libraries and binaries for al ii libc6 2.5-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.2-20070627-1 GCC support library ii libgphoto2-2 2.3.1-5+b1 gphoto2 digital camera library ii libgphoto2-port0 2.3.1-5+b1 gphoto2 digital camera port librar ii libstdc++6 4.2-20070627-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 kamera recommends no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
