in the debian bug tracking system I saw in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=199351
That there is a "bugreport" (more a bug mentioned) about a buffer overrun bug.
In the changelog of mgetty, there was a bugfix for a bufferoverrun in connection with callerid/callername:
Sun Oct 20 14:32:05 MEST 2002 Gert Doering ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
* cnd.c: possible buffer overrun via CallName
(found by "A. Guru" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>)
Was it this bug? Or is something different addressed by the debian bugreport?
