Why do you need this?  Rancid itself defines its PATH in
/etc/rancid/rancid.conf and this path contains /usr//lib/rancid/bin,
so the binaries should be found.

Where do you need the files in your user PATH for?  And if you really
need this, why don't you add /usr/lib/rancid/bin to your PATH
yourself, because you're the only one who needs this?

Why do you think, that this bug report is priority "important"?
