Still have that problem? Did the no-ip account used by you have any configured domains on no-ip's website?
Usually the "Nothing selected. Configuration file '/etc/no-ip.conf' NOT created." message represents no domains being chosen to be updated, thus not needing to write any configuration file. -- Mário Meyer
