I was on vacation and didn't get the gnome update till last night. After doing so everything
appears to work normally, however the icon files that gnome-power-manager use in the system
tray(the batter, the batter with the plug, etc) are either missing or not in a place where
gnome-power-manager can find them. gnome-power-manager works fine, even the new power history
feature works.
Do you have a /usr/share/icons/hicolor/icon-theme.cache ? If so, please
remove it, as some application must have built that cache by mistake.
