The underlying binaries are fundamentally non-interactive tools that
one would normally run from the command line with various options.
However, the options-processing framework they all use allows them to
present an initial dialog box when libvibrant is preloaded (or
directly linked in, but that yields dependencies that aren't otherwise
necessary); as such, their menu entries must explicitly cite both
relevant packages.
