I know, but it is NOT used or sending the messages.

I have already ask this earlier but gotten the reponse from the
Maintainer that "ssmtp" do not work without working DNS. And if I
install bind9 what shoud I do with a SIMPEL SMTP? Now my Workststion
@home does not more us "ssmtp" but "courier-mta" which work without
DNS-Server.

IF ssmtp use the /etc/hosts file it yould work in a local network
(where courier is instaleld on my Intranet Server) but it doesnt
because ssmtp NEED a working DNS-Server for sending messages.
