Package: latex-cjk-japanese Version: 4.7.0+cvs20061019-2 Severity: important
G'day, cjk-latex Japanese does not include c40song.fd, which is needed for the default encoding. For example, if I make a small file \documentclass{article} \begin{document} 日本語 \end{document} and run it from emacs using CJK-LaTeX, then I get the following error: ! Undefined control sequence. [EMAIL PROTECTED]@range [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] <-*>@nil <@nnil l.3 ^^?65^^?^^?^^?66^^?^^?^^?Æ^^?252^^? ^^?Ë^^?220^^?^^?¸^^?236^^? I get the same error with: \documentclass{article} \begin{document} \begin{CJK*}{JIS}{song} 日本語 \end{CJK*} \end{document} If I put c40song.fd in my path, then everything works fine. Could you please add c40song.fd (and probably c41,2,3,4song.fd) to the package? BTW, I am actually running ubuntu, but the problem seems to also exist in debian, so I am filing the bug here. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers feisty-updates APT policy: (500, 'feisty-updates'), (500, 'feisty-security'), (500, 'feisty') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.20-16-generic Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages latex-cjk-japanese depends on: ii latex-cjk-common 4.7.0+cvs20061019-2 LaTeX macro package for CJK (Chine Versions of packages latex-cjk-japanese recommends: ii latex-cjk-japanese-wadalab 0.20050817-11 type1 and tfm DNP Japanese fonts f -- no debconf information
