The package *is* buildable in unstable, because gaim support is optional in
the package. Whether this should be the case is debatable, but in practice
the package currently builds just fine in unstable (and has already done so
on arm) with the new gaim-dev.
At present, the real bug here is that the gaim-dev in unstable is totaly
useless and should be dropped, because it's completely incompatible with
previous versions of gaim-dev and serves no purpose.
It seems a bit strange to downgrade a bug for being not strictly a FTBFS but at the same time make a clone with the intention of turning it into one.
It's reasonable to transition nautilus-sendto to use pidgin-dev at some
point in the future, but please do *not* upload this right now as that would
disrupt getting the new version of nautilus into testing!
