Package: slrn
Version: 0.9.8.1pl1-28
Severity: minor

When I want to post an article, I hit "p" to post it, then I get asked
for the news groups and then for the subject of the artile.

At the subject prompt, as soon as I insert a <space>, the whole screen
scrolls up one line, and editing continues on a blank new line, as if I
had inserted a line-feed character. This happens only once for the first
space character typed.

There is no way to visibly edit the subject text before the first space
character after the screen scrolled, only later in the editor.

Ctrl-L to redraw the screen doesn't help.

The symptom occurs even without ~/.slrnrc and on xterm/rxvt/console
likewise (method: NNTP, if that matters).
