I'll go for " kB" (kiB is way too jargonic and even slightly pedantic while we anyway do not talk about accurate numbers). The space before the unit seems needed. It should theoretically be a non-breakable space, but that would introduce non ASCII characters in msgid, which is not well accepted by gettext. Translations will be corrected as they arrive (assumign translators know about the correct way to write units in their language). Maintainer, please do NOT use only files that will be reported but rather the bnch of files I will send at the end of the review process.
