I encountered this problem backporting pidgin-otr to etch.
pidgin-otr in testing/unstable is a cvs-checkout which relies on an
api-change in libotr, but the dependencies of pidgin-otr are satisfied
by libotr-3.0.0 in etch.
Now I'm confused. Is gaim-otr working fine with libotr in etch or not?
If yes, this bug is closed, and...
maybe just adjust the dependencies in pidgin-otr.
...that's a different (a much less problematic) bug
Please clarify the situation ASAP.
