Well, I think this is a more or less philosophic question. As I stated
in the original bug report before: Mozilla *does* acquire the focus for
it's Search window when you press Ctrl-F (well, it did, it has no search
*window* anymore :)). Also, OpenOffice acquires focus for it's Search
window. That's why I think this is something that could be fixed within
LyX.

On the other hand, of course you can state "hey, it works in kde, so it
must be a bug in fvwm" and I can say less about it other than what I did
- other applications can :)
Perhaps kde always acquires focus for new windows and fvwm does not. I'm
not sure if one could consider this a bug or different semantics. This
is why I think, the question is more or less philosophic.
