Package: nvidia-xconfig Version: 1.0+20070502-1 Severity: normal when running nvidia-xconfig on my working xorg.conf for the nv driver, it fails without creating a new config file: # nvidia-xconfig
Using X configuration file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf". Segmentation fault The original file does not contain a modules section. When I add the following lines to it, nvidia-xconfig works as expected: Section "Module" Load "glx" EndSection Yet, adding this entry is part of what nvidia-xconfig is supposed to do. The original file without modules section is what debconf created when I configured xserver-xorg 1:7.2-3 for the nv driver. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (600, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-k7 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages nvidia-xconfig depends on: ii libc6 2.5-9+b1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries nvidia-xconfig recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
