Package: fail2ban Version: 0.7.5-2 Severity: normal The ignoreregex filter option doesn't get <HOST> expanded, unlike failregex. This would be nice so that the ignoreregex can better and more easily match lines with hosts in them. Failing that, an explicit note that it's not expanded would be nice, but it should be pretty trivial to add the regex = value.replace("<HOST>", "(?:::f{4,6}:)?(?P<host>\S+)") logic to setIgnoreRegex() in server/filter.py
