I have a path like ~/pics/kesätapaaminen_2006/, where the 'ä' is a
latin 1/9 character. EOG breaks with it.

It also displays a small dialog box saying "File not found.". The
[EMAIL PROTECTED] locale is latin 9 (iso-8859-15), which is the same as latin
1 with slight modifications.
