Package: qemubuilder
Version: 0.35
Severity: normal

Hello,

I’m running the latest qemubuilder I backported on etch, and want to
use it to backport packages to non-i386 architectures I have no
hardware access to.

Running :
$ sudo qemubuilder --create --distribution etch \
                 --configfile /home/intrigeri/.qemubuilderrc-i386
=> creates a sid base image, whereas this --distribution command line
option is advertized in one example of the manpage.

Moreover, the manpage makes me think that ~/.pbuilderrc is read before
the file specified by --configfile. I don’t know if it does, but
setting DISTRIBUTION=etch in ~/.pbuilderrc is not taken into account
either ; with this setting enabled, running :
$ sudo qemubuilder --create --configfile /home/intrigeri/.qemubuilderrc-i386
=> also creates a sid base image.
Is ~/.pbuilderrc supposed to be read ?

The only way I’ve found to create a etch base image was to set
DISTRIBUTION=etch in the file fed into --configfile.

Thanks for this package,
Ciao,
