Thanks for trying fretsonfire. I think these are both just a lack of working GLX in your X servers, but I could be wrong. I can't reproduce either of them on a fresh sid install with either vesa, nv (these run unbearably slowly, however) or nvidia drivers. I think the hint of this is in: libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x66 Could you let me know if you a. disagree, b. what graphics cards you are trying this on.
