Please advise if there is a more appropriate package to file this
against?

The attached is a short script to support RFC4709 and the
application/davmount+xml mime type. I filed against the Debian
mime-support package because the script seems analogous to the
debian-view, playaudio and playdsp scripts.

I wish mounting WebDAV resources were as convenient in Debian as in
other operating systems. RFC4709 is the IETF standard for automatically
mounting WebDAV resources. Here is an example of a server which supports
RFC4709:
