we this problem here while setting up a
nfs + heartbeat + drbd cluster.

we are not yet sure how to trigger the problem.
if we try "by hand" it is not reproducable.
if we try "by heartbeat" it happens all the time.

the "workaround" solution we came up with is,
before the umount, do 
"echo 0 > /proc/fs/nfsd/threads",
and the umount is happy...

I have no idea why there are still nfsd threads
after "nfs-kernel-server stop"...

depending on circumstances, you may need to
"echo $somenumber > /proc/fs/nfsd/threads" afterwards.

if that works for you, too,
feel free to notify upstream :)
