That makes little sense in this case because I got to the help page by clicking "profile" on the unit-advancement screen.
In other words it gave me the choice of upgrading a red mage (?) to an arch-mage or a silver mage. This window had a "profile" button. I clicked profile to see what silver mage was. But it didn't go to the help for silver mage (since there was none) but to the top unit in the list (IIRC). This is surely a bug.
