Depends. Empathy doesn't allow one to set ignore-ssl errors on ``normal'' jabber accounts, but sets it by default on gtalk. Although i'd expect jabber.org to have a valid certificate. Can you start gabble using GABBLE_DEBUG=all and mail the output of that? That should show us what's actually going wrong.
