I cannot give you support with the proprietary nvidia driver. Please try
to reproduce your error with nv.

However, I doubt it is because of that...

Why are you using esd, but reporting a bug about the jack plugin?

Could you please try to get a core file and give me a backtrace of your
crash? Your report seems very weird to me.
