Hi Reuben, I don't think so since fnord doesn't by default support the /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ directory for cgis. I think packages depending on httpd-cgi put their cgis into this directory and expect them to be accessible through the web server automatically. Unfortunately the interface a package providing httpd-cgi should support seems not to be documented in detail.
In that case it might be worth documenting this little fact somewhere (possibly even in the package description?). In a way, fnord does not fully support CGI in Debian terms.
