Package: laptop-mode-tools Version: 1.04-1.1
The attached script adds support for pbbuttonsd. I have to be copied in /etc/power/scripts.d and a symbolic link to it has to be created in /etc/power/event.d.
This installation should be done if a powerpc machine is detected during installation. The scripts for acpi and apm could and should be omitted in that case. If the script is also installed in /etc/apm/event.d it might be lauched twice due to the apmd-compat script from pbbuttonsd.
Hi Matthias,
Just a check: wouldn't it work to make the script do "/usr/sbin/laptop_mode auto" always? That detects the current power state and adjusts laptop mode state accordingly -- at least, it *should*. And if it doesn't, I'd rather make it do that correctly than do an extra detection step purely in the pbbuttonsd support. What do you think?
