Login as user x in Gnome. Lock session of x. Login as user y in Gnome. Insert CD Let automounter do its thing. Try to unmount CD as user y. The last step just failed on me(this user has plenty of rights to mount/unmount volumes), because it claims user x has mounted it. This is nonsensible behaviour. The reason in the code is probably that it doesn't check whether the user that's selected in some way hasn't got his session locked. The expected behaviour is that the CD is unmounted. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-k7 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nl_NL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gnome depends on: ii gdm-themes 0.5.1 Themes for the GNOME Display Manag ii gnome-cups-manager 0.31-3 CUPS printer admin tool for GNOME ii gnome-desktop-environment 1:2.14.3.6 The GNOME Desktop Environment ii gnome-games-extra-data 2.18.0-2 games for the GNOME desktop (extra ii gnome-office 1:2.14.3.6 The GNOME Office suite ii gnome-themes-extras 0.9.0.deb0.2 various themes for the GNOME 2 des ii rhythmbox 0.10.0-3 music player and organizer for GNO ii synaptic 0.57.11.1+b2 Graphical package manager ii totem-mozilla 2.16.6-1 Totem Mozilla plugin ii xscreensaver 4.24-5 Automatic screensaver for X gnome recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
