lets keep on this bug report for now, though maybe we'll need to clone
this bug report later if it does turn out to be two similar but
different issues.

Ok.

just to make sure, in dhcpd.conf could you try both with:

   next-server 192.168.0.1;
   option root-path "/opt/ltsp/i386";

Yes !! It's my actual configuration !

or:

   option root-path "192.168.0.1:/opt/ltsp/i386";

does the same problem happen when configured with next-server separated
out, as when you just specify root-path?

I tested with this too, but I received the same problem.

what version of initramfs-tools?
  dpkg --root=/opt/ltsp/i386 -l initramfs-tools

Version 0.88

and, if you upgraded initramfs-tools in the chroot, did you also run
ltsp-update-kernels afterwards ? are there differences reported with:

Yes I ran this command too ;)

diff -r /opt/ltsp/i386/boot/ /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/

No. There isn't any differ between the 2 directories.

I think that the problem is with network card inittialization and
maybe the ipconfig should understand this. I think that ipconfig
freezes because it waits for any information or response from the
network card uninitialized.

thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this issue :)

Thank you too for you attention with this problem !! :D

live well,
  vagrant
