I tested the problem with Gnome and maximized texmacs and, yes, the problem exists. Precisely, I saw the problem only under dual-screen with "TwinViewOrientation" "Below" (or "Above") and maximized texmacs in screen2 (or screen1). It seems no problem under dual-screen side-by-side nor under KDE. Thanks for your interest in texmacs.
