I'm not very familiar with the way -dbg packages are produced but I'll
do some trial and error to see if I can build a package where
samba-dbg has debugging symbols for net.
The samba-dbg package contains debugging symbols for binaries in the
samba and smbclient packages only. I was trying to modify debian/rules
to include debugging symbols for samba-common too right now. If you
have a quicker solution, let me know.
