Sure, it would be nice to have, but depending on what's behind it can become a real nightmare. Even detecting superposed glyphs forming another one (like the ae TeX fonts do) is difficult, but for some other cases (glyph converted to a spline) you will have to go through an OCR :) -- .''`. : :' : We are debian.org.
