Before I look at it in the morning, could I please request the files
that are accessed according to the strace, i.e.:

> [pid  3648] open("/etc/nsswitch.conf", O_RDONLY) = 5
> [pid  3648] open("/etc/resolv.conf", O_RDONLY) = 5
> [pid  3648] open("/etc/host.conf", O_RDONLY) = 5
> [pid  3648] open("/etc/hosts", O_RDONLY) = 5
> [pid  3648] open("/etc/passwd", O_RDONLY) = 6
> [pid  3648] open("/etc/group", O_RDONLY) = 6

They may not be necessary, but they can be useful to have while
debugging. Please send them to me directly, no need to put this info in
the BTS where the world can see. Also edit out anything you don't trust
me with (replace with X's) if you feel the need :-)
