Package: scim-qtimm Version: 0.9.4-1 Severity: normal Currently scim-qtimm doesn't depend on scim, but only depend on libscim8c2a through ${shlibs:Depends}.
This is not suitable as scim-qtimm is completely useless without scim. And worse, in some corner cases (e.g., Ubuntu bug #114952 [1]), the user can have scim removed, only scim-qtimm and libscim8c2a installed, but somehow still set QT_IM_MODULE=scim. In such case all Qt applications with an input widget will freeze. 1. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/scim-qtimm/+bug/114952 Please add scim as a dependency of scim-qtimm.
