Hi
Hi,
Please learn about the meaning of severity levels before using
something else than the default one. What you're asking for is a /new
feature/ in an existing program, that's called a /wishlist/ bug.
Furthermore, lomoco is currently being rewritten by its upstream
developers to support newer logitech mouses, and I think MX600 is part
of the deal.
You can find more on lomoco's website and mailing lists.
I just bought a Logitech Cordless Comfort Desktop, and it looks like the mouse
is not yet supported by lomoco. I think it's a MX600, but am not really sure.
I got most of the buttons working, except the zoom buttons on the top. But I
think Xorg does recognize them as an axis, I just don't know how to actually
use it. But the position is awkward anyway and I don't think I'll miss it.
One thing that's bothering me is the speed, it feels much too fast. Will
changing the resolution help here?
Attached you'll find /proc/bus/input/devices and the output of lsusb -v.
I use the evdev driver in Xorg for the mouse, and the old kbd driver for the
keyboard (it doesn't seem to work with evdev).
Please tell me if you need any other information.
Cheers,
Markus
