Package: php-imagick Version: 2.0.0a2-1 Severity: important Usertags: implicit-pointer-conversion
Our automated buildd log filter[1] detected a problem that is likely to cause your package to segfault on architectures where the size of a pointer is greater than the size of an integer, such as ia64 and amd64. This is often due to a missing function prototype definition. [1]http://people.debian.org/~dannf/check-implicit-pointer-functions I looked into this one and it appears that the headers supplied by graphicsmagick are out of date and php-imagick is relying on functions for which it does not provide definitions. Header files from ImageMagick trunk[1] as well as the 6.3.2, 6.3.3 and 6.3.4 branches[2] do contain these missing definitions, so this will probably resolve itself if/when ImageMagick updates to a modern upstream.
