The best would probably be to backport the fix[1] for #420860 in mesa 6.5.2 in unstable, rebuild xorg-server against it, and see whether it fixes your problem. Unfortunately, the patch does not seem to apply on top of plain 6.5.2 source, so we might have to backport other intermediate patches too. We'll see what we can do.
