Package: gphpedit Version: 0.9.50-1 Severity: normal Hi,
When you're working on a certain indentation level and you press enter, normally you would get your cursor set at your current indentation level. This does not work correctly when using spaces. Reproduce: 1) Edit -> Preferences. Make sure you have 'Use tabs instead of spaces for indentation' _off_. Set your tab size to, for instance, 4. 2) Open an existing PHP file or start a new one. Be sure the highlighting mode is set to PHP/HTML/XML. 3) Type, for instance, the following code. "if (true) {" and press enter. You get: Your cursor is set at position one (which is OK if you would be using tabs). However, in this case you have one space inserted at the left of the cursor, and three are inserted at the right of the cursor. This should be: The cursor position should be at the fourth column, not the first. Cursor postition should be indentation level x tab size, not just the indentation level.
