Yes, HP-UX is HP's operating system for PA-RISC and Itanium. > So my questions: > > * Does the 64bit version of HP PA-RISC work in a 32bit > compatibility mode? I'm not really a porter, I just happen to own a HPPA machine and run the buildd for experimental on it. The file should be in the > `linux-kernel-headers' package, which I assume is installed on the amd64 [...] Note that linux-kernel-headers is currently replaced by linux-libc-dev which is directly built from the kernel package. You should check whether the new package is already installed on the buildd (grep for linux-kernel-headers in the build log, if it is marked as PROVIDED, the new package is installed) and if it is simply a bug in the new package. That was the reason for a build failure of one of my packages last week. [...] > Oh, and one last comment. Hmm, seems to be a bug, since http://experimental.ftbfs.de/build.php?pkg=root-system&arch=hppa works. Will ask the admins.
