The bug is filled against kernel 2.6.18-1 and the actual stable (and testing) kernel is 2.6.18-4. I'm currently running that kernel (2.6.18-4) so I'll try to install an old Debian with 2.6.18-1 on a qemu virtual machine as soon as possible to see if this bug can be closed.
