Package: vim Version: 1:7.0-122+1etch2 Severity: normal Comments in some differences become invisible (background, and foreground colour are the same) when using vimdiff to display files which have differences between the comments (i.e. if a commented line forms part of a difference between the two files, the text is hidden).
The problem was noted when comparing postfix config files, but should be present elsewhere. I tried to look for an upstream changelog but couldn't seem to find one. I don't have an unstable tree to check this on. There is some evidence that this has already been fixed elsewhere: e.g. search for "invisible" in http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/fedora/6/ppc/vim-common-7.0.109-3.ppc.html -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages vim depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgpmg1 1.19.6-25 General Purpose Mouse - shared lib ii libncurses5 5.5-5 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii vim-common 1:7.0-122+1etch2 Vi IMproved - Common files ii vim-runtime 1:7.0-122+1etch2 Vi IMproved - Runtime files vim recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
