Package: libcairo2
Version: 1.4.6-1
Severity: normal

Cairo lately has been seeming to crash on multiple applications, most
notably a python application using pygtk and gimp.

Using gimp as example, the error I am given is:
gimp: /home/dajobe/dev/debian/cairo/libcairo-1.4.6/src/cairo.c:261:
cairo_destroy: Assertion `cr->ref_count > 0' failed.
gimp: terminated: Aborted

(script-fu:4289): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: script-fu: wire_read(): error

This is when I choose the color selector window for the foreground
color..

The pygtk application crashes with the same line.

I don't know what exactly is triggering this, but my buddy using nearly
the same setup doesn't have this problem.

I am using debian/sid with a compiled murrine 0.53 gtk engine, with a
fairly simple theme. I have noticed that this crash doesn't happen with
a pixmap theme, though, very odd. My buddy using a compiled murrine 0.53
also, but does not have this crash.

Hope this helps.

I have also tried kernel 2.6.18-4-686 just for kicks, no bearing in the
kernel I am using it seems.
