Package: liboobs-1-3 Version: 2.18.1-2 Severity: wishlist Could the Depends: system-tools-backends become a Recommends?
With current unstable, gnome-desktop-environment Depends on gnome-system-tools, which Depends on liboobs-1-3, which Depends on system-tools-backends, which runs Yet Another Daemon for something I do not want or need. If you think some better solution exists for breaking this chain (such as making dbus launch system-tools-backends only if something accesses the interface), feel free to reassign and retitle this bug (or tell me to do so). - Josh Triplett -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-rc1 (PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages liboobs-1-3 depends on: ii libc6 2.5-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdbus-1-3 1.0.2-5 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.73-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libglib2.0-0 2.12.12-1 The GLib library of C routines ii system-tools-backends 2.2.1-2 System Tools to manage computer co liboobs-1-3 recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
