Package: openntpd Severity: minor Hi !
openntpd init script tests for /usr/sbin/ntpd. I have recently switched from openntpd to ISC ntpd (because openntpd cannot keep my clock up to date fast enough) and since I did not purge openntpd package, I still have the initscript that tries to start /usr/sbin/ntpd with bad options. I suppose that the same bug applies to ISC ntpd package. If /usr/sbin/ntpd exists, you may test something to check that it is openntpd one ? -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.21-neo.5 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages openntpd depends on: ii adduser 3.102 Add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.5-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8e-4 SSL shared libraries openntpd recommends no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
